Maybe you are going though a time where God feels distant–where He feel far away. You cry out in prayer and it feels like no one is listening. Maybe many tears have fallen because of a challenging time you have faced. The pain and sorrow seem louder than the Holy Spirit.
The enemy wants you to believe that God is ignoring you, that God doesn’t care. The enemy is WRONG! God’s love for His children is deep. He sees each tear that falls. He knows the pain you are experiencing. I wanted to share 5 scriptures that have helped me when I have faced difficulties in my life.
James 1:2-4 | Purpose in Suffering
2 Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
Isaiah 41:10 | God’s Presence & Strength
10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.
Deuteronomy 33:27 | God Is With You, His Arms Will Catch You
26 There is none like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to your aid, the clouds in his majesty. 27 The God of old is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you and commands, “Destroy!”
Psalm 46:1-3 | God Is A Refuge, Nothing Is Greater Than Him
1 God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. 2 Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, 3 though its water roars and foams and the mountains quake with its turmoil.
Psalm 34:4 | With God, There Is No Need To Fear
4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and rescued me from all my fears.
